House Guide

The House Guide coaches, directs and monitors the quality of care and the quality of life of the Elder’s living in the BridgeWater homes. The Guide acts as a supervisor to the self-managed work team of Shahbazim (nurses’ aides) and is responsible for evaluating the outcomes of their work, both individually and as a team. The Guide will assist the Housing Manager & Nurse to monitor regulatory compliance. The role of the Guide is to oversee compliance, competence, and the day to day operations of the homes. The Guide will provide monitoring and assistance to individual Shahbazim and to the team, directly or through team coordinators. The Guide will serve as a main point of contact for Elder’s, families, staff, and visitors. Must be able to relate professionally with elders, staff and family members, display a positive work attitude and be able to work as a team with other staff members. This is a full-time position, mostly M-F, but Guide must be flexible and willing to work nights and weekends, as needed, or when necessary to support the Shahbazim and the homes.
